The planned strike on December 20th was set to throw Christmas travel plans into chaos.
In a surprise move, Ryanair management has formally recognised IMPACT Trade Union as industry representatives.
Resulting in the planned strike, set to be implemented in two-days time, being called off.
The strike postponement will allow a lot of people who feared their Christmas Plans would be thrown into chaos, to return home for Christmas.

The recognition of IMPACT Trade Union as representatives of the pilots is a huge coup. As previously Ryanair had stated they wouldn't deal with Unions.
Talks to resolve the dispute are set to recommence tomorrow evening.
