The day to honour the contribution the Benedictine Monks of Buckfast Abbey have made to society is just over a week away!
World Buckfast Day has been gracing us with it's presence for four years now and a dedicated Facebook page has details on all the upcoming events for Buckfast lovers.
In Ireland there will be celebrations taking place on Saturday May 12th at:

Although it's not just the Emerald Isle who'll be celebrating all things Buckfast on the 12th... Events will also be taking place in Aberdeen, Ayia Napa, Belfast, Bristol, Cork, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Western Australia, Ibiza, London, Liverpool, Manchester, Stirling and Sydney!
The evidence is there...s lowly but surely... Buckfast is taking over the world!
