It's not Christmas unless you're digging into a big tin of chocolates.

The nation's favourite

It's been revealed that Cadbury Roses are Ireland's favourite Christmas treats.

A new survey by Aldi found 43 per cent of us are fans of the chocolates from the classic blue tin.

Roses were followed by Quality Street, with 18 per cent of households reaching for the Nestle sweets at Crimbo.

While Celebrations came in third place, with 12 per cent preferring the Mars-produced chocs.

You can tuck into your favourite festive treats a little earlier this year...at a drive-in cinema in Galway!

iRadio and Retro Drive-in Movies are teaming up again – and this time it’s festive.

From this evening, November 30th until Sunday, December 2nd, classic Christmas films will be screened on the biggest outdoor LED screen in the world.

We’re talking about Elf, Santa Claus: The Movie, The Polar Express and Love Actually, as well as the previously mentioned Home Alone movies.

There will be plenty of treats available to chomp on while you're keeping cosy in your car, including mince pies and non-alcoholic mulled wine.

And it’s all happening at Ballybrit Racecourse in Galway.

You can find out more and book your tickets here.
